ED 201 Educational Assistant

COURSE PURPOSE

The purpose of this supervised practicum is to give students practical experience in an authorized international Learning Center using the individualized methodology. This course will acquaint students with the challenges of cross-cultural instructional ministry and the procedures used to apply successfully personalized learning.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This field experience internship will be abroad in a Christian education program using the A.C.E. School of Tomorrow® curriculum. The student will work in a variety of learning situations depending upon the host school’s educational needs and organization. In addition to helping in a Learning Center, the student may also assist in children’s church, Sunday School, youth ministry, or sports. Length of stay is determined by the needs of the local educational program, but ACBI’s academic requirement conforms to a semester of 15 weeks.
